The Sara was eventually sold, and used for the ship explosion scene in the movie
(1994) and (quoting from wikipedia) "The boat that was exploded for this film was originally the Sarah, which had been used as the broadcast facility for Radio Newyork International, an off-shore pirate radio station.....The final explosion was the largest on film by amount of explosives used (the opening napalm scene from Apocalypse Now is the largest by area covered). No-one was injured filming the scene for Blown Away, but the explosion caused $1 million in damages, and the concussion from the blast shattered thousands of windows in the Boston Harbor area."
